For Janie and Cabel, real life is getting tougher than the dreams. They're just trying to carve out a little (secret) time together, but no such luck.
Disturbing things are happening at Fieldridge High, yet nobody's talking. When Janie taps into a classmate's violent nightmares, the case finally breaks open -- but nothing goes as planned. Not even close. Janie's in way over her head, and Cabe's shocking behavior has grave consequences for them both.
Worse yet, Janie learns the truth about herself and her ability -- and it's bleak. Seriously, brutally bleak. Not only is her fate as a dream catcher sealed, but what's to come is way darker than she'd feared....

A wonderful sequal to Wake, i really enjoyed this one much more too. The realistic dialogue, the riveting pace, the suspense, me screaming to Janie "NOOOOOO DOOOOOOOON'T!!!" because I got really into the book...

Everything about Janie makes her a great character in my eyes, well, a wonderful protagonist i must say. The one thing that i marvel that she has is courage. In this book, Janie's courage and determination is really brought out and I loved it.

The second of a trilogy, and I had dreaded the day the last one came out because that was the end of Janie's arc.

Fade a great, fast paced, marvel that Lisa McMann gives her readers and it has to be my favorite.

First Line: Janie sprints through the snowy yards from two streets away and slips quietly through the front door of her house.

Thanks for the review... Just like in the first book, I really like how the story was written... Like a diary style... For me, the cover doesn't have any connection again... But its quite cute...
