Welcome to the second day of the Eve Eden vs. the Zombie Horde blog tour, I am your host, Shortskie, and here there are a multitude of things going on for your enjoyment. Today I offer you two very special items. The first: an Interview with the lovely author herself, Suz Korb. And second: one lucky winner will be given an e-book copy of choice, more details below!
Kidnapped by a vampire, epically farted on by a pug and dragged through the pits of Hell. Welcome to Eve Eden’s world in the small and strange town of Twin Forest.Eve has goals. She has dreams and ambitions that don’t involve staying in this weird, podunk town. When supernatural forces collide, dropping her into the heart of England, she’s not pleased. When Eve said she wanted to get the heck out of dodge, she didn’t mean getting transported into a castle dungeon.A hellish incident turns Eve’s hair white. She can’t explain a slight attraction to a vampire who’s been sent to kill her. Can life get any worse? Apparently it can, because just around the corner at Twin Forest’s cemetery…waits the zombie horde.
What sparked the idea for Eve Eden?
I've always loved writing about hell, demons, the supernatural, vampires and more! And what better element to add to a story with all this than zombies? For brain chomping action.
Favorite thing to do to get inspired?
I'm inspired all the time by everything around me. It's why I always have a notebook handy in case I need to jot down an idea. But if the ideas ever stop flowing (which would be rare) sometimes I like to search for new photography images online to see what stories they might inspire.
Is there a specific time of day when you can easily write?
I can write whenever, wherever. When I was drafting Eve 1 I'd take my netbook with me to the park so that I could write in between playing with my kids on the playground!
What songs to be your background music what would it be?
Also while writing Eve 1, I listened to movie soundtracks such as Resident Evil: Afterlife and the soundtrack for The Matrix: Revolutions. Quite heavy metal stuff to accompany the action packed adventure scenes of this zombie infested story!
Winter or Summer?
Neither. Spring or Autumn as both seasons are not too hot or too cold :)
What movie could you watch over and over again?
Cowboys & Aliens.
Author Suz Korb writes supernatural comedy-horror novels with a splash of paranormal romance. The first novel in her Bedeviled trilogy, Eve Eden vs. the Zombie Horde, is a young adult adventure tale of hellish proportions.
