Friday Hops (6/15/12)

*Leave a comment below with you're post. Follow and I'll follow back*

Follow Friday (#18)
Q: Happy Father’s Day! Who is your favorite dad character in a book and why?

My favorite dad, definitely James Potter. There really isn't a need to go into describing how heroic, brave, gallant, and beautiful James Potter was, is, and always will be.

 TGIF (#17)

Most Valuable Book: From your personal collection of books, which ones hold the most value to you - is it signed by the author? or maybe it's your favorite story of all time? Share it with us.

My most valuable book would have to bee Looking for Alaska. Though it isn't signed, it holds all of my notes and highlights in sections and lines that I adored and really struck me as beautiful. The novel is just too amazing for words.

James Potter was a good dad! I forget about him since he is only mentioned in flash backs but he seemed like a good dad. Thanks for stopping by! I am an old follower.

Thanks so much for stopping by, hon - absolutely delighted to return the visit and the follow. James is definitely a good heroic pick, but I'd probably lean more towards Arthur Weasley.

Glad to see James Potter's name. I always got the sense that he was a great dad to Harry.

James would've made an excellent and loving father. He was a good father, too, to Harry for that first year, I'm sure.

New follower, here's my FF~

So embarrassing, but I totally have not read the HP series yet. I know, WHAT THE WHAT, right? It's true, though. I'm HOPING to rectify that this summer, but who knows? Maybe I'll read it later rather than sooner :( Movie James seemed like a fab dad and so huggable.

Looking for Alaska... John Green, right? The Fault In Our Stars is patiently waiting for me, and I've vowed to read it this month. Let's hope I don't break it...
